Supper Club

Join us for our 'Hakka Supper Club' on 20th March at Mildreds Dalston. Inspired by Indo-Chinese cuisine that originated in Kolkata in India. It goes back to the early settlements of the Chinese community, who adapted their traditional Chinese cuisine to local tastes. Expect heat and colour!

£40 per person, 7.30pm, Thursday 20 March

HAKKA SUPPER CLUB MENU

Chinese Bhel 

Snack mix of fried noodles with peanut dressing and kachumber style salad

Okra spinach chaat

Crispy spinach and okra with tamarind and green chutney, yoghurt, toasted peanuts, pomegranate

Shiitake Turnip Cake  

Steamed daikon fritter studded with shiitake mushrooms, served with pickled cucumber

Gobi 65 

Crispy battered cauliflower in chilli yoghurt marinade with fried curry leaves 

Veg Manchurian

Mixed vegetable balls in rich sweet and sour gravy 

Smashed Cucumber

Cucumbers marinaded in black vinegar

Hakka noodles

Fried noodles, peppers and onion, with red chilli sauce 

Lemon Rose Raspberry Falooda

Lemon sorbet, raspberry milk, basil seeds, noodles
